Laudi AS - Privacy Policy

This privacy policy governs your use of any software application (“Application”) created by Laudi AS.

1. Introduction

Laudi AS develops apps for both web and mobile devices. Laudi, “We,” “Our,” or “Us” refers to Laudi AS in this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy applies whenever you access our applications, be it web- or mobile applications, products, services, content or websites provided by Laudi (also referred to as “Services” or "Apps"). By using any of our Services, you agree to the collection and use of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, store, use and protect. It also describes with whom we share it and how you can access and update that information.

If you do not want Laudi to collect, store, use or share your information in the ways described in this Privacy Policy, you should not use software or services governed by this policy.

This policy applies to the Club Arena family of services published by Laudi, including

Club Arena (web app and API)
Club Coach (mobile app)
Club Pling (mobile app)

Any software that deviates from this policy is specifically mentioned here and have it's own detailed policy:

2. What information is collected and how is it used?

2.1. Collection of Information from User

We collect only the necessary information provided when you access and register in our applications. Use and registration is optional. Please note that some functionality depends on you providing information by registering in the apps.

If you access Laudi Services from a social network such as Facebook and Google, we automatically receive certain information about you from the social network. For example, Laudi applications may automatically collect and store some or all of the following information provided by the social network when registering:

First and last name
Profile picture or its URL
Login e-mail provided by you
Location of the devices you use to access our Services
Gender

Information coming from the social network is also governed by their policies, and we encourage you read the social networks Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically - especially on mobile devices, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile operating system, the name you have associated with your device, your specific geolocation, and information about the way you use our application and services.

We and third-party service providers acting on Our behalf may store log files and use tracking technologies such as cookies, web beacons (inform us if a page was visited or an e-mail was opened), tracking pixels (We or Our advertising partners use to provide more efficient and effective advertisements), flash cookies (which help Us reduce fraud, store your game preferences, and improve load times). We and Our service providers use these technologies to collect and analyze certain kinds of technical information, including:

IP addresses
Type of computer or device you are using
Operating system and version
Mobile device's identifiers, such as MAC Address, Identifiers For Push Messages, Identifier For Advertising (IDFA), and/or International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI)
Browser type and version
Reffering website
Usage. like pages clicked, domain names, time spent on a page, activity on the site

We may connect this information with your user ID in our services.

Please note that companies delivering advertisements on our Services may also use cookies or other technologies and those practices are subject to those companies' own policies.

If you make a purchase in Our Services, Our third party payment processor will collect the billing and financial information to process your charges. This may include postal address, e-mail address, and financial information, like credit card numbers. We do not collect or store any such information inside our system. Laudi's payment processors may share non-financial information with Us related to your purchases, like name, billing address and the items purchased in order to fulfill your orders. We may also obtain the non-financial billing and payment information that you provide when your purchase is processed by someone else (like Facebook, Apple or Google) such as when you purchase something in an app that you downloaded on your mobile device.

2.2. Use of information collected

We use the information we collect and store to improve Our User's experience. This includes:

Create User accounts or profiles
Enable you to use the Application
Personalize Our Services for you
Provide technical and customer support
Prevent fraud, illegal activities or attacks
Apply our Terms of Service.
Manage advertising.
Notify you of updates, new products or promotional offers.
Comply with our legal obligations
Provide you with important information.

2.3. Disclosure of information collected

Laudi does not share your personal information except as approved by you or as described below:

We may engage third parties to perform services on Our behalf. Such as analyzing data and providing customer support.
We may release your information as permitted by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or when we believe that release is appropriate to comply with the law, investigate fraud, respond to a government request, enforce or apply our rights, or protect the rights, property, or safety of us or our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection. In certain situations, Laudi may be required to disclose personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities or for local law enforcement requirements.
Aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help Us improve the Application and our service.
When We believe (in good faith) that disclosure is necessary to protect Our rights, or to protect your safety or the safety of others, as response as described above.
With Our third-party service providers who will use the information only in connection with providing the User with the Services and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
In case of a merger, sale of our assets, financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to a third party.

Please note that We may transfer information that we collect about you to third parties across borders. These countries may not have the same privacy laws as your own country. Notably we are using storage services in the Netherlands and Northern Ireland. We take steps to ensure adequate safeguards are in place to enable transfer and safe storage of information, as described in this Policy.

2.4. Mobile applications: Club Coach and Club Pling

Club Coach and Club Pling use the Club Arena platform and API. The exact information processed depends on which app you use and which functionality is enabled by your club or team.

Club Coach. Club Coach is intended for coaches, team managers and club administrators. It uses a Club Arena account and may process account and profile information such as user ID, e-mail address, name, optional phone number, language, role, club and team scope. The app also lets authorized users create and synchronize team, player, coach, match and match-event information, such as lineups, goals, cards, substitutions, event times and whether an event has been published as a Pling update. Session tokens and a cached profile are stored securely on the device so the app can work offline and synchronize when the device is online again.

Club Pling. Club Pling is a companion app for following teams and receiving match updates. The current app flow does not require a personal Club Arena login. The app can store followed teams, feed items and background message data locally on the device. It registers a random per-install device identifier and a Firebase Cloud Messaging token with the Club Arena API so notifications can be delivered to the correct device. If you use the QR scanner to subscribe to a team, the camera is used only to read the QR code on your device; camera images and video are not uploaded to Laudi.

Both mobile apps may use Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications, Firebase Crashlytics for crash diagnostics and Firebase Analytics for aggregated app usage measurement. Diagnostic and analytics data may include app interactions, screen views, app state, device or installation identifiers, operating system and app version, crash traces and similar technical information. Where the user is signed in, diagnostics may be associated with the internal Club Arena user ID so that Laudi can troubleshoot and secure the service; we do not use the e-mail address as the analytics or crash identifier.

Club Coach and Club Pling do not contain third-party advertising and Laudi does not sell personal data. Data is transmitted using HTTPS/TLS. Data is processed by service providers acting on our behalf, including Microsoft Azure for hosting and Google/Firebase for push notifications, analytics and crash diagnostics. You can request access, correction or deletion through the Club Arena account tools where available or by contacting Laudi using the contact information below.

3. How to opt out of data collection

You can stop all collection of information by any of our Applications by uninstalling them.

4. Data Retention Policy

We will retain the information collected for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. Please note that some or all of the information collected may be required in order for the Application to function properly.

4.1. Accessing, Correcting and Deleting Information Collected

We will inform you, upon request, with respect to what personal information is being held about you. If you wish to change any personal information, or if you wish to cease using our Services, you may change, correct, update, delete inaccuracies, or delete your personal information by making the change within your account settings to the appropriate service or app, or by contacting us. We will respond to your request within a reasonable delay.

5. Children

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from or direct or target advertising to anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to use our Services. Except for first names of players starring in teams inapps such as The Coach. We do not encourage or require any personal information about players. If you are under 13, or if you are a parent or guardian that becomes aware that his or her child are registered with such information in our system without consent, you should contact us at privacy@laudi.no We will delete all such information from our systems within a reasonable time.

6. Security

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, all storage is hardware encrypted. And Third parties will have access to your information on a need-to-know basis only in order to operate or develop our Application. Note that we endeavor to provide security for information we process and maintain.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
